She saw a broken classroom. Then she rebuilt it.

A teacher in Ogun State stopped waiting for a budget line and started with what she had: a roll call, a WhatsApp group and twelve willing neighbours.

Mrs. Precious Nnamdi had taught in the same classroom for nine years. The roof leaked in three places, and every rainy season the pupils moved to the corridor to finish their lessons.

She did not write a proposal. She wrote a list — of what was broken, what it would cost, and who lived close enough to help. Within a month, twelve parents, two artisans and a local hardware supplier had joined the effort.

CITEA ACTION came in where it mattered: helping her cost the work honestly, connect with volunteers, and record what changed once the work was done.

Today the classroom holds 46 pupils through the rain. Nation-building is not one big project. It is millions of responsible actions.
